  1. Knead together flour and shortening (I use a fork).
  2. Add baking powder and salt.
  3. Then knead water in 1/2 cup at a time until you have a smooth dough that is stretchy.
  4. You may need a bit more water.
  5. Let dough rest 1 hour for knead texture.
  6. While that rises, brown ground beef.train and set aside.
  7. Chop tomato, lettuce, onion and put each in small bowls to use as garnish (like tacos) along with cheese.teparate your dough in serving sizes needed (it makes about 5).
  8. Roll out each small serving to about 1/4-inch thick and place a little hamburger on one half and layer of cheese. Fold other side over and pinch tightly closed.
  9. Deep fry until golden brown.
  10. Repeat for other "dough servings" making like a beef turn over.tarnish and serve.
