Chocolate Buns
- 4 cups flour
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 None eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
- 6 oz milk chocolate, cut into 8 pieces
- None None Powdered sugar, to dust
- Mix flour, sugar, salt, butter and eggs in a large bowl. Heat milk until lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in milk and stir into the dough. Knead for 2 mins to make a smooth, pliable dough. Cover and let stand in a warm place for 40 mins to rise.
- Preheat the oven to 350u0b0F. Grease a baking pan and sprinkle with sugar. On a floured surface, form dough into a roll. Slice roll into 8 pieces. Shape the slices into buns and press flat. Place a piece of chocolate in the center of each bun and reshape dough to enclose chocolate.
- Arrange buns side by side in the prepared pan.
- Bake about 40 mins. Cool in pan 5 mins. Remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
