Beans With Tomato Walnut Sauce

  1. Boil, steam or microwave green beans until tender. Drain.
  2. Meanwhile, heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook garlic, spices and nuts, stirring, until fragrant. Add tomato puree, fresh cilantro and sugar. Cook, stirring, until heated through. Remove from heat and stir in peppers and green beans. Season to taste and serve.
