Spaghetti And Meatballs

  1. For tomato sauce, melt butter in a saucepan and saute onions. Add sugar and lightly caramelize onions. Add curry powder and cook briefly. Add tomatoes and tomato puree, bring to a boil and simmer for 15 mins. Add vinegar and season.
  2. For meatballs, mix ground beef with egg, breadcrumbs and tomato paste. Season then divide into 40 small meatballs. Heat oil in a frying pan and saute meatballs. Remove from heat then drain on paper towels.
  3. Meanwhile, cook pasta in boiling salted water. Drain, toss with sauce then transfer to serving plates and add meatballs. Serve sprinkled with cheese.
