Berry Ice Cream Cake

  1. Preheat the oven to 350u0b0F. Grease and line bottom and sides of a 9 inch springform pan with parchment paper, extending paper 1 inch above rim of pan.
  2. Mix melted chocolate, butter, egg, flours, 1/2 cup of the sugar, chocolate chips and macadamias in a large bowl. Press into bottom of prepared pan.
  3. Bake 25 mins, or until lightly browned. Cool in pan in wire rack.
  4. Mix ice cream and berries. Spoon over crust, smoothing top. Cover and freeze 2 hours.
  5. Heat reserved syrup in a small saucepan. Add remaining 1/4 cup sugar; cook and stir until sugar dissolves. Boil 2 mins, or until reduced by half; cool. Slice cake. Serve drizzled with syrup.
