Cream Of Potato Soup(Especially Irresistible On A Cold Day.)

  1. Cut potatoes in halves.
  2. Cook with onion in 2 cups boiling water until tender.
  3. Do not drain.
  4. Mash potatoes.
  5. Add sausage, thyme, marjoram, salt, pepper, butter, sharp cheese and remaining boiling water.
  6. Simmer 10 minutes.
  7. Add grated cheese just before serving.
  8. Makes 6 servings.
