Marbled Strawberry Chocolate Cupcakes

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0F. Line a 12-hole muffin pan with paper liners.
  2. Combine cake mix with eggs, butter and buttermilk; reserve 1/2 cup of the mixture.
  3. Combine cocoa and 1 tbsp just-boiled water in a small bowl. Add to main mixture, then stir in chopped strawberries.
  4. Spoon mixture into prepared cupcake liners. Spoon reserved yellow mixture on top and swirl using a skewer, creating a marbled effect.
  5. Bake 25-30 minutes, until a skewer inserted in the center of a cake comes out clean. Serve cupcakes topped with halved strawberries.
