Mexican Bagel
- 4 oz ground beef
- 1 tbsp dried breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp spicy brown mustard
- 3 tsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 None sesame bagel, sliced in half
- None None Lettuce leaves
- 1/4 cup canned red kidney beans, drained and lightly mashed
- 1 tbsp sour cream
- 1 tbsp canned French-fried onions
- Preheat the oven to 400u0b0F.
- Mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, mustard and 1 tsp oil. Season with salt and pepper and shape into a burger. Heat the remaining oil in a nonstick skillet and cook the burger for about 6 mins per side until cooked through. Sprinkle the cheese over the top of a bagel half. Place in the oven until the cheese has melted.
- Top the other bagel half with some lettuce leaves, followed by the beans, burger and sour cream. Add the bagel top and serve sprinkled with fried onions.
