Chocolate Orange Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0F. Grease 2 - 8 inch cake pans.
  2. Whisk together sugar substitute, almond flour, garbanzo flour, cocoa powder, flaxseed, baking soda and baking powder. Whisk together yogurt, coconut oil, eggs, 2 tsp orange zest and orange juice. Stir into dry ingredients. Transfer to prepared pans and bake for 25-30 mins, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool for 10 mins then unmold cakes and let cool completely.
  3. Meanwhile, beat cream cheese, sugar substitute and vanilla until smooth. Add heavy cream and beat until very smooth. Spread 1/2 the mixture over first cake layer. Cover with second layer. Spread remaining mixture over top. Garnish with orange segments and pomegranate seeds.
