Cinnamon Rolls

  1. Scald milk and cool to lukewarm.
  2. Crumble yeast in mixing bowl.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon sugar and half the milk and mix well.
  4. Add well beaten eggs.
  5. Cream margarine with remaining sugar and salt and add to first mixture.
  6. Add flour and milk alternately.
  7. Knead well.
  8. Place in greased bowl and let rise until double in bulk. Place on floured board and let stand 10 minutes.
  9. Roll out and spread with melted butter.
  10. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon cinnamon and 1/3 cup sugar.
  11. You can add raisins or drained crushed pineapple or nuts.
  12. Roll up like jelly roll and cut in 2-inch slices and place in greased pan, cut side up.
  13. Bake at 425u0b0 for 5 minutes.
  14. Reduce to 350u0b0 and bake 20 minutes.
