Potato Dish Casserole
- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 can Durkee fried onions (small)
- 1 pkg. frozen Crispy Crowns or Tater Tots (potatoes)
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. broccoli (small florets)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 c. milk
- Line ovenproof casserole dish with potatoes.
- Bake at 400u0b0 for 10 minutes, uncovered, until potatoes are browned.
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef; add broccoli, soup thinned with the milk, 1/2 of the shredded cheese and 1/2 can of fried onions. Heat through.
- When potatoes are done, remove from oven and lower temperature to 350u0b0.
- Fill with meat and vegetable mixture; cover and put back in oven.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Five minutes before done, remove lid; sprinkle on rest of cheese and onions and cook remaining 5 minutes uncovered.
