Apple Fritters With Chocolate Caramel Sauce

  1. To make batter: Combine juice with 1 cup cold water. In a large bowl, whisk flour and combined water and juice together until smooth.
  2. To make sauce: In a saucepan, combine cream, candy bar and fudge. Stir over a low heat 4-5 minutes until smooth. Keep warm.
  3. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan heat oil on medium. Working in 4 batches, dip apple rings into batter, draining off excess. Gently lower into hot oil. Deep-fry 2-3 minutes, turning, until golden and crisp. Drain on paper towel.
  4. Toss hot fritters in combined sugar and cinnamon. Serve fritters hot with chocolate caramel sauce.
