Tuna Steak With Penne
- 250 g dried penne pasta
- 400 g tuna steaks, cut into 2cm cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 None carrots, peeled and grated
- 100 g spring onions, trimmed and sliced
- 2 None garlic cloves, crushed
- 250 g cherry tomatoes
- 125 ml dry white wine
- Pinch None caster sugar
- Cook the penne according to the package instructions. Drain.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large non-stick frying pan, season the tuna then stir-fry for 4-5 mins. Set aside. Heat the remaining oil and stir-fry the carrots and spring onions for 2-3 mins. Add the garlic and stir-fry for 1 min. Add the cherry tomatoes and stir-fry for 1 min. Add the wine, bring to a boil, stirring gently. Return the tuna to the pan along with the penne and a pinch of sugar. Toss to coat, season and cook until heated through. Serve.
