Ham-Fettuccine Bake
- 2 1/2 to 3 c. cubed, cooked ham
- 1/2 c. onions, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. fettuccine, cooked
- 2 Tbsp. buttered bread crumbs
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
- 1 (14 oz.) can artichoke hearts
- pepper to taste
- In skillet, lightly brown onions in butter.
- Stir in soup, milk and 3/4 cup cheese.
- Heat until cheese melts.
- Blend sauce with ham and fettuccine.
- Add cooked peas and chopped artichoke hearts.
- Pour into buttered 2-quart casserole.
- Sprinkle bread crumbs and cheese on top.
- Bake in a 350u0b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
- (I season mostly with black pepper; ham tends to have enough salt.)
