Mini Meat Loaves(Or Meat Balls)

  1. Mix thoroughly 1/4 cup soup, beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, salt and 1/8 teaspoon each pepper, sage and thyme.
  2. Shape firmly into small (about 6) mini meat loaves.
  3. In skillet, brown loaves in shortening.
  4. Drain fat.
  5. Mix together remaining ingredients (soup, seasonings and water) and set aside.
  6. Cover meat loaves and cook low heat 20 minutes.
  7. Add soup mixture.
  8. Cover again and cook low until done.
  9. Stir occasionally. Serve with parsleyed potatoes and broccoli.
