Orange Honey Chicken Wings
- 12 None chicken wings
- 2 tsp finely grated orange peel
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp vegetable or olive oil
- 1 medium carrot, cut into matchsticks
- 1 medium zucchini, cut into matchsticks
- 2 None celery sticks, sliced
- 1 can (8 oz) bamboo shoots, drained
- 1 cup bean sprouts, rinsed
- Preheat the oven to 350u0b0F. Combine chicken, orange peel and juice, honey and soy sauce in a large glass or ceramic dish. Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate for 10 mins to marinate.
- Arrange chicken, in a single layer, in a large baking pan. Discard remaining marinade. Bake, turning chicken during cooking, for 40 mins or until browned and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, heat a wok or large skillet on high heat. Add oil; swirl to coat surface. Stir-fry carrot, zucchini and celery for 5 mins or until tender. Add bamboo shoots and sprouts; stir-fry for 2 mins or until heated. Serve chicken with stir-fried vegetables.
