Apple, Strawberry And Rosemary Crumble

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0F.
  2. Combine apples, sugar and 1/4 cup water in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 10 mins, or until apples are just tender. Transfer apples and cooking liquid to a large bowl. Add strawberries, cinnamon, flour, vanilla and maple syrup. Transfer to a 2-quart shallow baking dish.
  3. To make the crumble, process nuts, self-rising flour and rosemary until nuts are coarsely chopped. Add butter and brown sugar and pulse until butter is almost finely chopped. Transfer to a large bowl. Drizzle maple syrup over dry ingredients then mix until ingredients begin to clump together. Sprinkle over fruit and bake for 40 mins, or until golden brown.
  4. Serve crumble topped with extra strawberries and heavy cream.
