Egg Nog Punch(Good For Holidays!)

  1. In large bowl with mixer at high speed, beat 6 egg whites until foamy.
  2. Gradually beat in 1/4 cup sugar until stiff peaks form.
  3. In small bowl with mixer at medium-low speed, beat the 6 egg yolks and 1/2 cup Karo syrup about 5 minutes or until thick and lemon colored.
  4. Add 1/2 pint half and half cream.
  5. Beat until well mixed.
  6. Fold into egg white mixture.
  7. If desired, stir in 1/4 cup dark or light rum.
  8. Cover and refrigerate.
  9. Place 1 pint vanilla ice cream in punch bowl.
  10. Pour egg nog mixture over ice cream.
  11. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
  12. Makes 24 half-cup servings.
