Beef Teriyaki Platter With Asparagus

  1. Place the steaks, teriyaki sauce, ginger and garlic in a dish. Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight to marinate.
  2. Remove steaks from marinade. Cook the steaks on a heated griddle plan or oiled grill until browned on both sides and cooked as desired. Transfer the steaks to a warm plate, cover and leave to rest for 5 mins.
  3. Meanwhile, saute the asparagus and scallions until just tender.
  4. Slice the steaks thinly and place on a warmed serving platter with the asparagus and scallions. Serve with wasabi, soy sauce and steamed rice, if desired.
