Hot Mushroom Dip
- 4 slices bacon
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. lemon pepper
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cut into small cubes
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- crackers
- Fry bacon until crisp; drain, saving 2 tablespoons of drippings in pan.
- Crumble bacon and set aside.
- Add mushrooms, onion and garlic to drippings.
- Cook over medium heat until tender and most of the mushroom liquid has evaporated, about 6 to 8 minutes.
- Mix in flour, salt and pepper.
- Add cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce.
- Reduce heat to low and stir until cheese melts.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream and bacon.
- Serve with crackers.
