Cinnamon Rolls
- 400 g flour
- 150 g sugar
- 125 g butter, softened
- 1 None medium egg
- 200 ml milk
- 21 g fresh yeast
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- To make the dough, sift flour into a bowl then add 1/3 cup sugar, 5 1/2 tbsp butter, egg and a pinch of salt. Meanwhile, dissolve yeast in warm milk then add to flour, mixing until smooth. Cover and let proof for 30-40 mins in a warm place.
- Preheat oven to 400u0b0F. In a bowl, mix the cinnamon with remaining sugar. Roll dough out into a 24 x 14 inch rectangle. Melt remaining butter then brush over dough, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar then cut in 1/2 and roll each 1/2 up from the long side to create a roll. Cut into 10 pieces. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 12 mins. Remove from oven, allow to cool on a wire rack then serve.
