Spiced Savoy Cabbage With Raisins And Walnuts

  1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the chile pepper, ginger, turmeric, cinnamon and cumin and cook, stirring constantly, for 1-2 mins until fragrant. Mix in the brown sugar, walnuts and raisins and cook, stirring, for 1 min.
  2. Add the cabbage and salt and cook, stirring, for 2 mins. Add 1 1/4 cups water and the coconut milk and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10-15 mins, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender. Stir in the lemon juice and serve.
