Kim'S Lasagne(Serves 12)
- 8 oz. ground beef, browned
- 1/2 clove garlic
- 1/2 small can tomato paste
- 1/2 small can tomato sauce
- 3/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. oregano
- 6 oz. cottage cheese (small curd)
- 8 oz. box lasagne noodles
- 4 oz. pkg. Muenster cheese
- 4 oz. pkg. Monterey Jack cheese
- Boil noodles in salted water until soft, then drain.
- Brown ground beef and add garlic, tomato paste, tomato sauce, salt, pepper and oregano.
- Simmer for about 20 minutes.
- Prepare a 2 to 2 1/2-quart casserole dish by spraying with Pam or rubbing with butter.
- Layer noodles in the bottom of the casserole dish.
- Add Muenster cheese, meat combo, Monterey Jack and cottage cheese in layers.
- Repeat until all ingredients are gone.
- Ideally, the last layer should be some kind of cheese.
- Bake in preheated oven at 375u0b0 for 20 minutes.
