Microwave Chocolate Oatrage Snack Cake

• 1 c. (2 sticks) margarine or butter, softened
• 1 1/3 c. oats, uncooked
• 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
• 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
• 1/2 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels, divided

1. Combine all ingredients except chocolate morsels.
2. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed of electric mixer until creamy.
3. Stir in 1 cup chocolate morsels.
4. Spread batter into 8-inch square microwaveable dish; cover with waxed paper.
5. Microwave at High 4 minutes; rotate dish 1/4 turn.
6. Microwave at High an additional 4 to 5 minutes or until top appears dry.
7. Sprinkle remaining chocolate morsels over top of warm cake.
8. Let stand 10 minutes; spread over cake.
9. Cool.
10. Cut into squares.
11. Makes 12 squares.
