Creamy Broccoli Bake
- 1 1/2 lb. fresh broccoli
- 2 slightly beaten eggs
- 3/4 c. cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
- Wash and trim broccoli.
- Cut into spears.
- Cook broccoli, covered, about 10 minutes, until crisp-tender.
- Drain.
- Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine eggs, cheeses, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
- Arrange broccoli in a shallow baking dish. Spoon cheese mixture atop.
- Stir together bread crumbs and melted butter.
- Sprinkle over cheese mixture.
- Bake, uncovered, in a 350u0b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through.
- Serve.
- Makes 4 to 6 servings.
