Prawn Toasts

  1. In a food processor, pulse 1 slice of bread to breadcrumbs. Add royal red prawns and soy sauce. Process until smooth. Add onion, ginger and chilies.
  2. Spread 1 tsp prawn paste onto each piece of quartered bread and top each with a prawn. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  3. Heat oil and deep-fry prawn toasts, in batches, until lightly browned and cooked through. Drain on paper towels. Serve immediately, with plum sauce, if desired.
