Green Tea And Honey Cupcakes

  1. Preheat oven to 325u0b0F. Lightly coat two 12-cup muffin pans with oil.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until pale. Add honey and egg, beating until combined. Sift in flour, baking powder, green tea powder and a pinch of salt. Mix until just combined. Distribute between muffin pans and bake for 20 mins, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool in pans for 5 mins then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  3. Combine powdered sugar with enough water to make a runny icing. Drizzle over cooled cupcakes and sprinkle with pistachios. Serve with a pot of freshly brewed green tea.
