Holiday Eggs

  1. Saute green pepper and onion.
  2. Remove crusts from bread; butter both sides.
  3. Line 9X13 pan with 8 slices of bread.
  4. Mix cheese, pepper, onion and mushrooms and spread HALF of that mixture over bread.
  5. Layer with remaining 8 slices of bread and cover with remaining cheese mixture.
  6. Mix together eggs, milk, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt & pepper; pour over bread and cheese layers.
  7. Refrigerate overnight.
  8. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
