Apple Strudel

  1. Toss apple slices in lemon juice.
  2. Add nuts, raisins, salt, Sugar Twin and cinnamon; mix well.
  3. Lay out 1 sheet of fillo dough on waxed paper and brush carefully with 1 teaspoon melted margarine.
  4. Sprinkle with 1/2 tablespoon bread crumbs.
  5. Place second sheet on top of first and repeat the process.
  6. Now you are ready to fill and roll the strudel.
  7. Spoon 1/2 of the apple mixture in one strip along the edge of the fillo sheets that are nearest you.
  8. Using the waxed paper to help you get started, roll the dough like a jelly roll.
  9. Lay on greased baking sheet, seam side down and brush top with remaining tablespoon margarine. Score at 1-inch intervals.
  10. Repeat process with other two fillo sheets.
  11. Bake at 350u0b0 for about 30 minutes or until lightly brown; be careful not to let it burn.
  12. Cut into slices when cool.
