Beef Patties With Potatoes And Coleslaw

  1. Place potatoes in a microwave-safe bowl with a little water. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave on high 6-7 mins, or until just tender. Rinse in cold water and drain well.
  2. Combine ground beef, onion, breadcrumbs, herbs, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and egg in a large bowl. Season to taste. Shape mixture into patties. Refrigerate.
  3. Heat half the oil in a large skillet on high heat. Cook potatoes 8-10 mins, turning, until golden and crisp. Drain on paper towels. Season to taste. Keep warm.
  4. Heat remaining oil in same pan on high heat. Cook beef patties 4-5 mins each side until cooked through.
  5. For the coleslaw, combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Season to taste. Serve beef patties with potatoes and coleslaw.
