Sweet And Sour Balti Chicken
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 2 tbsp Greek-style yogurt
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tbsp mango chutney
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 2/3 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 2 tbsp cilantro leaves, to serve
- None None Steamed jasmine rice, to serve
- Combine tomato paste, yogurt, garam masala, cayenne pepper, garlic, mango chutney, salt and sugar in a bowl. Heat oil in a large skillet on medium-low heat. Cook tomato mixture, stirring, for 2 mins, until slightly thickened.
- Add chicken and stir until well coated. Add 2/3 cup water and simmer for 15 mins, until chicken is cooked through.
- Stir in sour cream and sprinkle with cilantro. Serve with jasmine rice.
