Pasta E Fagioli

  1. In frypan with small amount of water, one teaspoon olive oil and garlic, fry the sausage.
  2. Transfer to large pot.
  3. Add remaining oil, sauce, pepper, salt and bay leaves.
  4. Simmer 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Add 4 cups of water.
  6. Bring to a boil.
  7. Add macaroni, stirring slowly.
  8. Cook for 5 minutes.
  9. Add beans with liquid and reduce to simmer.
  10. Remove and discard bay leaves.
  11. If not loose enough, add more water.
