Brunch Fruit Basket

  1. Using a pencil and starting and ending at the stalk, draw a line around the cantaloupe. Mark out a 1-inch-wide band at the center of the top half. Using the lines as a guide and a small sharp knife, cut cantaloupe as shown in the photo. Remove melon pieces.
  2. Peel removed melon pieces; chop flesh. Using a teaspoon, scoop seeds from melon, then scoop melon flesh to create a shell 2cm thick.
  3. Combine melon, kiwi, strawberries, banana, juice and passionfruit in a large bowl. Spoon fruit mixture into basket; top with ice cream and serve at once.
