Super Sausage Supper

  1. Saute onion, garlic and carrot in shortening in a skillet. Add sauerkraut, apple cider, wine, pepper, parsley and bay leaf. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  3. Remove bay leaf.
  4. Put into a 3-quart casserole.
  5. Bake, covered, at 350u0b0 for 1 hour.
  6. Serves 8.
