Country Style Steak And Gravy
- 1 lb. cubed steak
- meat tenderizer
- Accent powder
- salt and pepper
- flour
- 5 Tbsp. shortening
- 3 Tbsp. flour (heaping Tbsp.)
- salt and pepper
- 2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire
- Sprinkle
- steak with tenderizer, Accent, salt and pepper on both
- sides.
- Flour steak well on both sides.
- Fry steak in shorteningtn
- medium
- totigh heat until brown on both sides approximately
- 5
- minutes
- on both sides each.
- Remove from pan and
- add
- flour,
- salt and pepper to fat in pan.
- Brown lightly stirring.
- Add
- a
- little
- extra
- shortening if necessary.tdd water and Worcestershire stirring until of a good gravy consistency.
- Add
- a little extra water if necessary.
- You may return steak
- to
- gravy
- and
- simmer for 20 minutes covered or you may serve separately.
