Chicken Rolls
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/4 c. butter, softened
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp. chopped green onion
- 4 c. cooked, cubed chicken (4 to 5 chicken breasts)
- 2 pkg. crescent rolls
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. chopped nuts
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 c. sour cream or plain yogurt
- Cream together cream cheese, butter and pepper.
- Drain mushrooms.
- Fold in chicken, mushrooms and green onions.
- Roll out rolls and place 1/4 cup mixture in each; roll up.
- Seal edges. Dip into melted butter and roll in bread crumbs mixed with chopped nuts.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325u0b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Top with gravy.
