Bucatini With Broccoli And Chili Pepper
- 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
- 14 oz bucatini pasta (or spaghetti)
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/4 None bird's eye chili pepper, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 can (2 oz) anchovies, rinsed and chopped
- Cook broccoli in a saucepan of boiling, salted water 5 mins, until tender. Drain, reserving 1 cup water, and keep warm.
- Cook bucatini in a large saucepan of boiling, salted water according to package directions. When tender but firm to the bite, drain. Return to pan with broccoli and reserved broccoli water. Cook on low heat, 2-3 mins, to heat through.
- Meanwhile, heat oil in a small skillet on low heat. Add chili pepper, garlic and anchovies. Saute gently, 2-3 mins, until aromatic. Add to pasta and broccoli. Season to taste and toss to combine. Serve.
