Satay Shrimp With Five Spice

  1. Combine the satay sauce, garlic, curry powder and five-spice in a large bowl. Add the shrimp and toss to combine.
  2. Heat a wok or large skillet on high heat. Add half the oil and swirl to coat the surface. Stir-fry the onion for 2 mins or until soft. Remove from the pan. Add the remaining oil to the wok and swirl to coat the surface. Add the shrimp mixture and stir-fry for 2 mins or until the shrimp change in color.
  3. Return the onion to the wok. Add the snow peas and 1 tbsp water and stir-fry for 2 mins or until the shrimp are cooked and the vegetables are just tender.
  4. Serve over rice. Sprinkle with bean sprouts. Serve with lemon wedges.
