Cheesy Chicken Tempters
- 2 cups finely chopped, cooked chicken
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon green pepper
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne (or to taste)
- 2 cups pie crust mix
- In a medium sized fry pan, melt butter.
- Add onion, green pepper and saute 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in chicken, cheese, sour cream, worcestershire sauce, salt and cayenne.
- Blend well and set aside.
- Prepare pie crust mix according to package directions. Roll very thin and cut into 2 inch circles.
- Place about 1 tsp of filling in the center of half of them.
- Top with the other half and press sides together with fork to seal.
- Place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
- Brush with egg whites.
- Bake at 450 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
