Marmalade And Ricotta Samosas

  1. Preheat the oven to 400u0b0F. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Using a 4-inch pastry cutter, cut 4 rounds from each pie crust. Combine ricotta and marmalade in a small bowl. Place 1 level tablespoon of mixture in the center of each round.
  3. Brush edges of pastry with a little water. Fold pastry over to form a semi-circle, pressing edges together to seal. Arrange on prepared pan. Brush with egg yolk.
  4. Bake for 12-15 mins, until golden.
  5. For the marmalade sauce, combine marmalade, 1/4 cup water and Grand Marnier in a small saucepan. Simmer on low heat for 5-10 mins, until syrupy and slightly thickened.
  6. Serve samosas dusted with powdered sugar and drizzled with marmalade sauce.
