Marmalade And Ricotta Samosas
- 2 None refrigerated pie crusts
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 tbsp marmalade
- 1 None egg yolk
- None None Powdered sugar, to serve
- None None FOR THE MARMALADE SAUCE
- 3/4 cup marmalade
- 1 tbsp Grand Marnier
- Preheat the oven to 400u0b0F. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- Using a 4-inch pastry cutter, cut 4 rounds from each pie crust. Combine ricotta and marmalade in a small bowl. Place 1 level tablespoon of mixture in the center of each round.
- Brush edges of pastry with a little water. Fold pastry over to form a semi-circle, pressing edges together to seal. Arrange on prepared pan. Brush with egg yolk.
- Bake for 12-15 mins, until golden.
- For the marmalade sauce, combine marmalade, 1/4 cup water and Grand Marnier in a small saucepan. Simmer on low heat for 5-10 mins, until syrupy and slightly thickened.
- Serve samosas dusted with powdered sugar and drizzled with marmalade sauce.
