Baked Spaghetti
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 small can mushroom bits
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 tsp. salad oil
- 1/4 to 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 pkg. dry spaghetti mix
- 1 medium green pepper
- 1 lb. can tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 to 1/2 box Creamettes spaghetti
- Partially cook the onion, garlic and chopped green pepper in the oil. Add meat slowly (in bite size bits) and brown slightly. Add the spaghetti sauce and mix well. Add mushrooms.
- Add the tomato sauce, paste and whole pack tomatoes.
- Partially cook the spaghetti which has been broken into 3 to 4-inch pieces.
- Salt, if desired.
- Combine the spaghetti with the sauce mixture and mix well.
- Layer into a large casserole, topping each layer with grated cheese. Bake at 350u0b0 for about 1 hour.
