Quick Hamburgers With Side Salad
- 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp + 1 tsp oil
- 1 slice bread
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 None egg
- 4 None seeded rolls
- None None Ketchup, to taste
- 1/2 head iceberg lettuce, cut into small pieces, 4 leaves set aside
- 1/2 None cucumber, sliced
- 1 None tomato, cut into 4 slices
- 1/2 bunch radishes, sliced
- For the vinaigrette: mix 2 tbsp of oil and the vinegar vigorously in a bowl and season to taste. Set aside.
- Soak the bread in cold water. Knead the bread, ground beef and egg until well combined and season to taste. Form into 4 patties. Heat 1 tsp of oil in a nonstick pan and cook the patties for 3-4 mins each side.
- Cut the rolls in half horizontally. To assemble hamburgers, spread the bottom half of each roll with ketchup, followed by a lettuce leaf, 4 cucumber slices, a hamburger patty and a slice of tomato. To make the salad, toss the radishes, remaining cucumber and lettuce with the vinaigrette. Serve each hamburger with salad on the side.
