Malted Milkshake Cheesecakes
- 8 oz chocolate cake, cut into 1/4-inch cubes
- 5 oz Whoppers or Maltesers candy, 3 oz crushed
- 1/3 cup chocolate liqueur
- 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin
- 2 pkg (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup malted milk powder
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 None eggs, separated
- 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted
- Divide cake cubes among eight 1-cup dessert glasses. Top with crushed Whoppers and liqueur.
- Sprinkle gelatin over 1/4 cup water in small bowl. Stand bowl in small saucepan of simmering water. Stir until gelatin has dissolved. Cool for 5 mins.
- Beat cream cheese, sugar and malted milk powder in large bowl with electric mixer until smooth. Beat in cream and egg yolks. Stir in gelatin mixture, then chocolate.
- Beat egg whites in small bowl with electric mixer until firm peaks form; fold into chocolate mixture. Divide among glasses.
- Refrigerate overnight. Garnish with whole Whoppers.
