Broccoli, Rice, Cheese And Chicken Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil.
  3. Mix in the instant rice.
  4. Cover and remove from heat.
  5. Let stand 5 minutes.
  6. In a large skillet, melt butter.
  7. Add onion and celery.
  8. Cook until onion is beginning to be transparent.
  9. Do not brown.
  10. Add frozen broccoli.
  11. Cook for a few minutes (until broccoli is not frozen).
  12. Stir in soup and milk.
  13. Heat until it begins to simmer.
  14. Add cheese to hot mixture.
  15. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, mix the prepared rice, cream of chicken soup, butter, milk, broccoli, onion and cheese.
  16. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and top is lightly brown.
