Pear And Almond Pie

  1. Preheat the oven to 350u0b0F. Grease a 9 inch pie plate.
  2. Sift flour and cinnamon into a large bowl. Stir in sugar and coconut. Whisk milk, butter, eggs and syrup in a medium bowl. Stir into flour just until blended. Stir in pears. Pour into the prepared dish. Sprinkle with almonds.
  3. Bake for 35-40 mins or until golden brown and set. Cool on a wire rack for 15 mins. Serve with ice cream.
