Hazelnut Crackle Cookies

  1. Combine chocolate and butter in a small saucepan on low heat. Stir until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth. Transfer to a large bowl; cool for 10 mins.
  2. Stir in brown sugar, egg and ground hazelnuts. Sift flour, baking soda and cocoa powder into a medium bowl. Stir into cookie dough. Refrigerate for 20 mins.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350u0b0F. Grease and line 2 large baking pans with parchment paper.
  4. Roll level tablespoons of cookie dough into balls. Place powdered sugar on a plate; roll each ball in sugar. Place about 2 inches apart on prepared pans.
  5. Bake for 15-18 mins. Cool in pan 5 mins. Remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack.
