Low-Fat Turkey Chili
- 1 1/2 lb. ground turkey
- 3 (14.5 oz.) cans Contadina Recipe Ready tomatoes
- 2 (40 oz.) cans red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (8 oz.) can no salt tomato sauce
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 to 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
- 2 tsp. dried oregano
- 2 tsp. dried basil
- 1/2 tsp. ground red cayenne pepper
- fresh ground pepper to taste
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Healthy Choice nonfat shredded Cheddar cheese
- white rice
- Note:
- Seasoning amounts depend on personal preference.
- Taste during cooking and add additional chili powder, pepper and garlic as needed.
