Ground Beef Casserole
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 c. canned tomatoes or juice
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/2 (14 oz.) bag sea shell macaroni
- 1 c. cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. grated cheese
- Brown beef in shortening, then add onion and brown.
- Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Cook about 1/2 of 14 ounce bag of sea shell macaroni according to directions on package.
- Drain and rinse, then add to meat mixture.
- Add 1 cup cream of mushroom soup.
- Pour in baking dish.
- Top mixture with 1 cup grated cheese and bake about 30 minutes or until cheese is completely melted, at 350u0b0.
