Golden Pineapple Layer Cake

  1. Combine undrained pineapple, whipped topping and pudding mix. Let stand 5 minutes.
  2. Cut cake lengthwise in thirds.
  3. Drizzle with liqueur.
  4. Spread one-third pudding mixture over bottom layer of cake.
  5. Top with second layer.
  6. Repeat.
  7. End with topping.
  8. Chill 30 minutes.
  9. Sprinkle with toasted, sliced almonds.
  10. Garnish with pineapple slices and/or raspberries or strawberries.
