Cheesy Hot Dog Puffs
- 3 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mild salsa
- 9 None hot dogs, each cut into 3 equal pieces
- 1 None egg, lightly beaten
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds
- None None Tomato ketchup, to serve
- Preheat the oven to 425u0b0F. Grease and line 2 baking pans with parchment paper.
- Cut each sheet of pastry into 9 equal squares for a total of 27 squares. Top the center of each pastry square evenly with cheese, then salsa. Place a hot dog piece diagonally across each pastry square (corner to corner). Wrap 2 opposite corners of pastry over hot dog to enclose. Place on prepared pans. Brush tops with egg, then sprinkle with poppy seeds.
- Bake for 15 mins, or until golden, puffed and cooked through, swapping trays halfway through cooking. Serve with tomato ketchup.
